August 3, 2004 journal, are you ready to deal with your stress, the battle of Atlanta at the Cyclorama at the city zoo in downtown near I 20 is a spectacular painting 360 feet x 42 ft. tall.  The seating platform turns 360 degrees.  The painting hangs vertical 30 ft. from a rail with sculptured trees and people that blend into the painting looking like one and the same scene.  40 foreigners painted this canvas over 100 years ago and it was restored in the late 1970s.  Seeing this makes an indelible impression on the cruelty of the Civil War when one half million people died. The North slaughtered the South over the rebellion of 42 per cent unfair export tax on their cotton. This war in Iraq is just as brutal and unfair to innocent. 11 states withdrew from the Union and the border states were also attacked by The North and they used hundreds of thousands of fresh Irish immigrants to fight their battle and die.  I have no respect for Abraham Lincoln who tried to make a deal with the South on their economic lines. History is altered time and time again to make it sound politically correct. “The Battle of Atlanta can be seen 15 times a day at the Atlanta Cyclorama, presented as a 3 dimensional panorama with music and narration, the painting of the Battle of Atlanta forever captures a pivotal moment in the history of our nation.  Visitors encounter the drama of and absorbing human story that took place on a hot July day in 1864.  The major feature of the Cyclorama is the massive painting in the round and 3-dimensional diorama. The 2-story building also contains a museum with a fascinating collection of the Civil War artifacts, weapons, displays, maps and photographs.  Several touch screen computers trace the daily action of the war on all fronts during the Union Army advance through Georgia. Audio translations for the "Battle of Atlanta" program is available in French, German, Spanish and Japanese. The main floor of the Cyclorama is dominated by the Texas, one of the steam locomotives used in the Great Locomotive Chase in April, 1862, a display near the Texas describes the chase, also known as Andrews’ Raid, which began at Kennesaw, Georgia, when Union soldiers seized a locomotive called the General.  The general was pursued north by Confederates on the Texas until the General was abandoned near Ring- gold, Georgia. The Texas has been a popular attraction in the Cyclorama since 1927.  Souvenir hunters, history buffs, Civil War scholars & students should visit the Cyclorama book store.  The book store offers a wide range of Civil War replicas, a memorabilia and books on topics from military strategies to recipes from the 1800's.  The Cyclorama experience is offered every 30 minutes from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 7 days a week.  The Atlanta Cyclorama is a facility of the city of Atlanta Bureau of cultural affairs and is lo-cated in Grant Park, off Interstate 20 near downtown”. For information 1-404-624-1071. It is now reported that the find of "new" information reported by Tom Ridge on Sunday as to the threat of attack on the financial institutions in Washington and New York was 4 years old. What suckers we have all been to this war and politics to sustain an evil man in office.  Nearly all presidents are evil and there is no choice in this election what so ever in my opinion.  It is so obvious that Tom Ridge plugged the president for his good war job. This political system needs to be taken down and replaced by the laws of God Almighty.

I met with the owner of the North Atlanta Trade Center to explore the possibility of having a mega Apocalyptic art show featuring my 300 foot painting as the nucleus of it.

Finally as the Northbound traffic was jammed I met with Susan Bridges of the Angelshow on Edgewood Dr. and enjoyed seeing her beautiful Victorian style house. We had lunch at Chateau Elan Winery at Winder, Georgia.  We had dinner at the Six-foot Under Seafood Restaurant on Memorial Drive near the Grant Park. War is foolishness, let God avenge.
